If you’ve ever wanted a vacation with an over-water villa, you’ve heard of the Maldives.
A unique country of only twenty-six atolls, the Maldives are known for being islands out of time – each seemingly a private paradise in the absolute middle of nowhere.
But, if there’s one other thing you’ve heard about the Maldives, it’s that it’s expensive. Really expensive.
Miles and points, of course, can greatly lessen the cost, but from everything I’ve read a vacation, there, still seemed exorbitant and for now out of my wallet’s reach.
However, friend-of-the-site See Think Explore just wrote about her Maldivian vacation and it sounded and looked astounding. More importantly, it was wildly inexpensive!
I encourage you to read about STE’s recent excursion, below, and also follow the site. It’s a unique and beautiful view on ex-pat life and travel in Asia through the eyes and mind of one of the most talented people I’ve been privileged to know. (All photos via See Think Explore.)
